What to do to modify to make toda B's not mess up motor
toda valvetrain and proper maintenance.
Also Titanium Retainers and correct tuning.
A JDM style header and a short ram intake would also be a good idea to have, so the engine can breathe easier.
A miracle! Go with Jun's....
j/k
hahah.... Like everyone else said, valve train, 2.5" header, VAFC, and tune the **** out of them.

It's all about the install.
you get a good, experience installer, everything is golden and get ready to throw down against Mustangs, Bimmers, etc.
Get the local **** shop who installs Altezzas to do it, your next post will be "Where to buy a new B18C5?"
Do some research on installers, etc. Be willing to drive a ways away to get a quality job done.

you need..
stiffened inner valvesprings
titanium retainers
valve lash set at .20mm for both the intake and exhaust side
you'll need to turn the idle air screw out a lot to get it to idle nicely.
and, depending on your other mods..you may need other things such as a fuel pump and regulator, and you'll probably want a v-afc to change the vtec crossover and to get the car to idle better.
You're also gonna want to get rid of the stock ecu program and rev limiter so you can rev higher....you could probably get away with stock valvesprings if you weren't planning on revving over the stock rev limit, but i don't know anyone with spec bs that isnt revving over 9k.
As far as installing them goes..you can do it yourself, even the valvetrain. It's easy, just get a friend who knows what hes doing to help you the first time, or get a helms manual, and make sure you have the right tools for the job. Even though it is a relatively easy install...some shops will still manage to mess something up because they aren't paying attention or rushing through the job... In my opinion, just do it yourself, that way you know it was done right.

Compression is the key to get these things to make power. U can make power with stock compression but not enough to exactly be ahead of the competition. A thiner gasket or a nice head mill would do the trick.
A good installer would close the combo to perfection.

What you really need is, a way to add more fuel for the cams and to have it tuned for the type of driving that you do most of.
Also, you should cut the factory valve adjustment time intervals in half or more, due to the higher lift and peace of mind, plus doing the valve adjustment more often, you can monitor if there is any abnormal wear.
