simple green should work fine, spray it on and let it sit for a few then hose it off.

Get warm, room temp or so. Just not cold. Mix simple green and water 50/50 and spray valve cover. Let sit for a minute, if it starts to dry spray more on there. Hose off. DO that a couple times and she'll be like new.

For some very odd reason i like it....haha, good luck with cleaning it! Simple green should clean it right up, or maybe some de-greaser or soemthing...

Use Simple Green and a fingernail brush. I've also had good luck with using Fast Orange hand cleaner to remove grease and **** from parts...

[b][color=royalblue] I just gave it a decent scrub with Dish Washing Liquid, until I get a chance to use the Simple Green. What do you guys think?

Castrol Super Clean!!!! is the best hands down. Walmart is the cheapest place to buy it. They sell refill jugs too! It looks like you got that cover pretty clean though........

Not jacking thread, but I tried using the engine degreaser and found it didn't really work, so I used simple green mixed it 1 part to 10 of water...here is what it did to my engine bay:
(Runs and puts flame suit on)

Before:

After:

And this only took me like an hour, I have no clue how I let myself slip that long on not cleaning it in the first place....but simple green is DA BOMB.

tiite valve cover
clean it with simple green but don't let it sit too long cause if you don't mix it with water it may eat away some of the paint. i know i've wiped off some of the red in my itr vc using simple green, but be careful cause it's strong
