Default What companies will reprogram your ECU?

I have a 99 Integra LS and a 2000 ITR, both are using the OBDII ECU and I want to have it reprogrammed. Which company does a good job of reprogramming the ECU? Does reprogramming the ECU also take off the speed governer? Thanks.

Its really expensive to reprogram OBD2 ... about 500% more than the OBD1 chip. Chip should be done as a final mod (a cherry if you will) after everything else is done. If you simply reprogram it to remove the rev limiter, you will be

1) wasting your money
2) not gaining any power cause of stock mods
3) on the verge of blowing your engine.

I think what you are looking for is a stand-alone ... those things are nauuusty

Good luck

The difference between OBd1 and Obd2 is, OBD2 ECU process way faster and it offers way better response. For example, if you have a smarter brain and you can think faster and react faster. The 2000-2001 ITR has the fastest processing speed and it is way better then the OBD2. However, computer companies won'r release any support or software until next year.

I will suggest you to reprogram your OBD2. I can have your ECU reprogam, if you want any info please email me privately.

Hi AJ, if possible I would like to have a new OBDII ECU (just like mine) reprogrammed. That way I can swap back in the original ECU when I bring my car in for servicing. (little trick I learned dealing with Audi) Pls e-mail me with details. Thanks. bb_triflo@hotmail.com

basically get 84 pin PLCC IC Socket, then remove the original chip, solder it in, and simply then get a programmed chip

or buy a JDM ODBI (DOHC VTEC only) ecu chipped by me with a mugen or spoon program for $200 (that a complete ecu with a chip) shipped then get a odbII to obdI harness for about $250 and your set....
