Default maintenance light

anyone know what service is done around 53,000 miles? becuase the maintenance light is on yellow right now and its gonna turn red soon. I wanna see what needs to be done so maybe I can do it with my friends try to convince my dad we can do it lol instead of taking it to dealer and having them charge me 300 :-)

check out the manual... probably just an overall look over, belts, fluids, brakes, plugs, tire rotation that sort of stuff...

ditto....

and you really don't need to go by the maintenance light.

mine starts to turn orange like every 15k ....I usually do maintenance far more often then an owners manual would state...plus depending on how hard you are to your car.

definately check your belts too

That maintenance indicator turns red every 7500 miles unless it is reset. No major service done at 53k. Just do your regular service (oil change, rotate tires, inspect brakes, etc.) and reset the light yourself. Just remember, all big service is done at 30k intervals. You have more inspection type service at 15k intervals.
