The HX got owned by a stock VW golf!!

Well my friend that drives a VW golf backed into me this evening... damage isnt too bad I guess, and it was an accident so I'm not too pissed.. But does anyone have and ideas as to how much this will cost? I'm going to take it for an estimate tommorow, but wanted to see what you guys thought... i'm not sure if they'll have to replace the entire door or not but i know for sure the fender is trashed(including the fender lining), the alignment on the door is pretty messed up, and its dented...

i think you better off with new door and fender if you want it to come out good go to the j-yard and see if you can get them and do it yourself and then have it painted maybe alot cheaper good luck

yea i wasnt even in the car, it was just parked at the bottom of his driveway... beau and i just finished installing his SAFC when i heard my alarm going off and i saw thad's car right next to mine....

i'm going to get an estimate later today....

same thing happened to my only on the driver side cost about a g to normal do but then again i only payed like 200

in parts and made 800 in profit stupid

i'd try and post in the classifieds... for the parts u need.... slammedsi has LOTS of ****, got a FBP FR fender for my 99 DX.... didn't have to paint, remove dings, or anything... just install.

same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. same spot but on the drivers side. looks the same too. fender and door are both fucked up. i found a buddy thou that will spray the new fender when I get it so the hurt on the wallet shouldnt be to bad

Look for parts that are already silver and bolt them on. A body shop will want $1232.65 to fix that!

exactly...

ended up being like $1353.01

and i'm getting my door handles, moldings, sideskirts and mirrors painted for free.

My friend has a jetta but he didnt run into me. No, he went flying over a hill, into a tree and almost went rolling down a 100 ft. hill at like a 45 degree incline. All with me in the car and my dumb *** wasnt wearing a seat belt. Well we were just fun the car on the other hand needs a new front everything. Thats my fantastic experience with V Dubs
