I need Sway Bar Advice
I drive a 1997 Honda Civic DX Hatch. Its almost completely stripped out. I have the following installed on the car.
Tein Type Flex Control Master
Skunk2 Rear Upper Strut Bar
Skunk2 Rear Lower Tie Bar
Benen Industries 3 Pt. Front Upper Tower Bar
F/R Skunk2 Camber Kits
CTR Front Sway Bar
CTR Rear Sway Bar
What would be the best setup for AutoX in a hatch?
I've heard and read many discussions about the shape, thickness, method of forming sway bars vary from bar to bar. I currently have

I have the same set up. Well, I have the GS-R front 24mm and the ITR 22mm in the rear.
You should have one hell of a lot of fun with that combination.
I do.

this is just my personal opinion.for an autoX setup, considering they usually have slower overall speeds and tighter radius turns than most roadcourses,i'd want the car to rotate a little more than it probably does with your current setup.i'd say maybe a 21mm civic front bar or maybe a 22mm non-gsr Teg front bar.
but, really the best thing i'd say you can do is to attend a race with your current setup and see how it feels, then make changes from there-it may be perfect for you as-is.
don't forget that a good alignment can also make a great deal of difference.

ewww, just saw your tire setup.i'm sure you understand that before you spend money on anything else,a good set of tires would be your best investment.

depends on what you want-as far as street tires go,everybody raves about the Azenis.they have about the best traction you can get for a tire that you can also daily drive on and get decent life out of.plus they're very reasonably priced.

Have fun in a modified class.
Have you done any autocrosses yet?
You're better off just doing atleast a few events before doing any other modifications. A smaller/no front sway bar and higher rear spring rates will help with rotation, though.
As for tires, if you're just learning, stick with all-season tires, then maybe Azenis, and when you're good, soem slicks since you'll be in a Mod class.
