Default How much are you guys paying for insurance?

Just wondering what kind of coverage you guys have and what state and what companies you are going with and how old you are. I am thinking of getting a bike and want to know what to expect on insurane.

Thanks

i think there was already a thread on this. But anyways, i'm 21 and paying 47bux a month for liability on a '02 cbr f4i. Thats with a really bad record tho and through progressive, which i heard was pretty expensive.

i did a search and couldn't find anything. I was quoted 52 bucks a month for my 99 CBR600 or 120 a month for it with full coverage. I am 18 with an ok record. This is also through progressive.

23, one accident (my fault), one speeding ticket. $972 a year, which equals to like $81 a month for full coverage in California, I paid it in full cuzz it was cheaper. The company is PSIC/Mcgraw, phone # is 800-828-3003.

Before I bought my Ducati, I got a quote on a 2000 R6. $5,700/year. The 2000 748 that I have now is $850/year. I'm 27. My fiancee (28 years old) bought the R6 and pays $450/year for it. Oh well. Rather have what I've got. The insurance co. said there are a lot more claims on the Japanese bikes. Evidently there aren't any for Italian bikes.

I pay $22 a month for liability for my 98 F3.....I only carry liability because I have 2 speeding tickets, and even if I wrecked it I still wouldn't file a claim with the insurance company and get my rates jacked up even higher. Good thing I have good health insurance through work I turn 21 next month so I may get quoted for full coverage, just to see if its much cheaper....then in May all my tickets drop off, so we'll see.

i dont have inurance on my bike simply b/c, well, i couldnt afford it when i bought my bike, but i worry everytime i ride. i dont have a valid tag either, i dont suggest it.

however, i was quoted and upfront price of like $130, then 33 bux a month, 9 months out of the year. bike is a 94 Suzuki GSX600 Katana

25, $104 for the year, liability, Progressive, 92 Suzuki VX800. Got quoted for ~$140 liability on a 03 Suzuki SV1000...which should be between my legs this summer.

Not in Florida. If you ride with a helmet, you do not have to have ins. at all.

I'm kinda getting screwed here.. But I pay $1091/year on my '01 GSXR1000, but State Farm also requires you to have auto insurance on a car as well as the bike. For my mother's work car (1990 Cutlass Ciera pimp ride) I was quoted at $886/6 months liability only. doesn't make sense that the bike is full coverage, and less than the oldsmobile. Oh well, I needed insurance.

I was paying $2400 a year canadian, which is $200 a month, on a 99 ZX-7. i had a 2 million liability and a $500 deducatable on collision and comprehension (theft, fire valdalism) looks like i need to move to cali, $30 for insurance is retarded
