Anything Better then an H22
Spending 15 grand on an engine for a 91 Accord? I thought I was nuts.
Besides the S2K's F20, the H22A is about the most badass 4 banger Honda makes. The only better engines that will drop into your Accord are probably the JDM Prelude Type S's H22 with 220 and the Accord SiR's F20B making 220 also.
I could be wrong. I'm preddy fuggin grunk right now

15K? You can get a swap done for less than 5K.
As far as the F20B, Accord Si motor, I am not sure about the HP rating that was posted. I have a model year 2000 Accord brochure directly from Japan. Now I can not read Japanese, but it says that it puts out 190ps. It also says that the Accord Euro R puts out 220ps. Now knowing that Honda reserves the R logo for its best cars, it would logically stand out that the Accord Si in fact puts out less than 200hp. I do not know the ps:hp translation, but if 190ps = 220hp, than that would put the Accord Euro R at over 250hp.

My numbers were just coming out of my head. I do remember, however, being supprised that the 2 liter F20B made as much power as the Type-S H22 at 220 (though I'm sure torque is a bit down due to displacement).
What does PS stand for anyway?

PS = piston speed. it is about equal to HP. Accord Si got 193 about, automatic version H22a. Accord SiR-T (G5) got the H22a, 200hp. G6, the Euro R came, and gave 220Hp with the F20, and they rid the SiR-T out of the line up.

Will a V6 fit? Like 3.0 or 3.2 from the TL/CL type S??? Imagine that? 260hp with some decent torque as well. Maybe the 3.5 from the RL or NSX...HEHEHEHE!!!!
