You guys ever heard of this?

I was wondering about the Hub Centric Ring itself. Is it a must have? Just wondering cause I notice vibration in my car after installing my slips and have gotten the balance of the wheels checked and they are balanced. My mechanic can's seem to figure it out and maybe this would be the solution. BTW the vibration occurs between like 65 and 75 after and before that it is fine.

yeah you should get a set of those - it will definately eliminite your vibrations. i got mine from http://www.prestigewheel.com they were 40 shipped. those ones you've got there are metal and can sieze on the hub. get some polycarbonate ones that wont to that or melt.

if you have aftermarket wheels, you should get them. it's not completely necessary, but you'll feel damn stupid if your lugs work their way off. without them, all of the stresses your wheel takes are being absorbed on your wheel studs; with them, the stresses go onto the hub like they are supposed to. without the rings, you should retorque your lugs every 100 miles, and you will get unwanted vibrations at highway speeds. just get them... don't be stupid and cheap.
the diameter of the hub on all civics is 56.15mm, and the diameter of the centerbore on my rotas was 67.1 mm. the smallest i could find at tire shops was 72 mm - you'll probably need to get them from http://www.prestigewheel.com .

All the polycarbonate ones I used ended up getting heat stress cracks. I used anti-seize compound on my metal ones to prevent seizing. No problems yet.

i checked the sticker on the inside of the rim w/ of my rota's, not there... i called machiii.net and they were able to tell me that mine is 73mm on my rims...
