So how do you guys like this system?

Clarion ProAudio DXZ835MP (HU)
Polk Momo MM2124 (12 inch sub)
Rockford Fosgate 301x amp(will be upgraded to MTX Thunder564 amp after I get an alarm)
Rockford Fanatic Q's in front (hopefully will be upgraded to polk when I get the MTX amp)
Rockford Coaxials in back

I am running the components in the front off of the amp and the sub will be run off the rear output in bridged mode. The rear speakers will be run off the deck. Dont have it all hooked up yet because I'm waiting on the deck because my old one just got ripped off.

BTW how come nobody likes the Polk Momo Subs? I went to a local shop today and listened to them and 1 polk hit harder than 2 sony 12's, also it was louder and cleaner than Fosgate HE's and Type S's.

 

The real question is...Do you like your system?

 

IDK yet. It is not hooked up yet but I'm anxious to find out. Even more anxious to get that MTX amp.

i dislike those people who get systems and their plate rattles, sounds stupid.

Try double sided sticky tape. The thick 3M type works.

Why are you so excited about an MTX amp?

 

Got hooked up from circuit city?

 

Throw some dynamat or fatmat on the back of your plate and it should stop the rattling.

I did buy the sub at circuit city. How ya know?

The reason I excited about the amp is cause its my first real system. I've never had subs before in a car. And the amp I have now will only give 150 rms.

How is the MTX amp? Good **** or not good ****. Cause I've been told thier good ****.

I know nobody like the momos but I heard them at 2 differant places and both times they hit harder than everything I have listened to besides the type r. To be more specific it sounded better than brands such as sony, fosgate, alpine type s and type e, infinity.

 

I completely agree with you thats why I got the Momo's eventhough everyone else frowns on them. But amps are differant I can't really tell sq between to similar priced same wattage products so I base my decsion on build quality of the amp and reputation of the company. Thats why I asked about MTX so someone could enlighten me on their amps.
