Well I bought a spoiler. There is one problem with her though. The holes created for the screws to go in are to far on the outside of the bottom of the spoiler. The screw holes arent even on the trunk when I try to line it up. This kind of gets me perturbed.
Where the red circles are is where I NEED the holes to be, to make if fit. My question is simple. Can a reputable body shop make the holes I need in the spoiler and screw through my trunk at the sides and make it all work out?
Thanks.

There are 2 versions of the ITR spoiler or is that an Si one? (can't tell)...2 and 4 dr. I don't know if the mounting holes are different though, but I would start there. Is it OEM or generic as well?

No this baby is universal... supposedly. Supposedly its not though by seeing this... I checked and it said it would fit 96-98's just fine. Which it does if I move the spoiler up past the middle of my trunk, which would be the gayest possible looking thing ever. No its not an OEM spoiler.

I'll let the shop do that, if they can. And from what you say it sounds like you think they can. The last thing I tried to do that a body shoulda done for me I did this
Make notice to the left side of the grill. I can install straight forward things like headlights or taillights or a grill... But my nerves are usually too bad to improvise things.

I actually found a web site to drop a 350 chevy into a first gen RX-7. I think the motor mount kit with a bunch of other stuff runs about $800, and a first gen 7 can be found in a junk yard for next to nothing(in fact I have 3) So for less than 6k you can build a 10 sec car. This is the next project for me after I finish my motor swap.

that definetlly isnt made for your car. if i was you, i wouldnt even put that thing on. and get one that fit right. you said the holes in it dont even touch the trunk and they stick out past the sides? the pedastal (which the holes are in) should not stick out past the trunk...that is going to look bad...IMO
my suggestion would be drill the existing hole big enough to fit a bolt and a washer in. then drill the red dot the size of the bolt thats going thru and then use a locking nut on the inside of the trunk to hold it in place. hope that make sense.

I've slapped it on many times and Im pretty happy with the looks. Its not perfect ofcourse but it not enough to bother me really... Im pretty pleased other than this screw hole issue.

probaly not, But I asked honda how much they charged to put a wing on. They said $90 for install. Thats nearly $100 to drill holes and tighten bolts
Good luck, I'd try and sell it and get one that fit right.
