Default How Rare is the 92-95 SI

I own a 93 SI and everyone makes a big deal out of it, maybe cus of the milage I bought it with (67K) or maybe the price I paid ($2,800 from first owner, who was a 52 year old woman with every last record for the car). In any case how rare are these things, it seems like everyone has one on here but i never really see them around on the streets and if i do they have like 150k +. Just curious if i really did get that great of a deal on the car. Only complaint is that its red, since all of them I see seem to be but other then that I guess its cool.

I'd say from what I see around town. 2 out of every 5 Hatches I see are Si's.

I've only seen a handfull of Civic hatches in my life, most of them 96+. I can only recall about 3 EG hatchies, dunno what they were as far as trim packages though.

I think it just depends on the area you live in. In So Cal, they're everywhere, very common.

i have seen more 99+ b16 si's than i have seen 92-95 si hatches, they are rare and expensive where i live. dealers are big rip offs. they could of put a 6 to 7 thousand dollar price on the car your own (the 93 w/ 67k) miles.

they're pretty hard to come by if you ask me. i got one but it was by luck. usuallly once an enthusiast comes across one, they never let it go...kinda like myself.

Almost everyone I know with 1992-95 hatchbacks have one or two SIs. All almost the same color. Not as rare as I once thought.

Tons of them in the bay area. $2800 seems like a pretty good price with low miles. I've seen them out here with low miles like that and super clean go for like $4000 for a 931/2 the one with the larger front brakes.
