I have si's on me right now...and i would like to know if switching to hx's would make me faster.
Having the lighter rim...hxs... 14" size...shouldnt the wheels spin faster than the 15" si's?
Since lighter is better...would i be able to brake better / faster with the hxs instead of the si's?
Si's are bigger? So more grip?
Is it worth it? Switching to hxs?

Yes, a lighter rim will make you faster. You can put a 195 series tire on an HX for sure, and I *THINK* a 205 will fit on there. You can put a 205 series on a Si as well, so there really isnt any more grip. HXs will give you performance gians.

guess which one i suggest.

the lighter wheel...because who needs to run 120 mph?

get the hx's. i was stupid for letting mine go but i needed money. when i used to have my hx rims i had way better acceleration. 17 are just more drag on your motor becuase it takes more power to get the wheels to turn.
If you can pretty much get an even trade with your Si rims for HX rims, then go for it, other wise I wouldn't bother. IMO, the benefits aren't good enough to warrant a big effort since it's just for the street.
