help asap with obd1
i just converted to obd1 with a p72 in my gsr. Well, the car sounds a lil deeper. It seems that it accelerates faster after the 2ndaries open at 6200, but it seems slower to get there after vtec kicks in, could just be relative to my past experiences. But, after i rode around for a while and let the car sit, I tried to start it up and it wouldn't. It would turn but not start. So I put in the old ecu and it worked. Then I plugged in the obd1 and it started, then I turned it off. Then I turned it again, and it started but with a lil more trouble. The engine sounded like it was stalling. So I turned it off and on again, it started, but it sounded like it was almost stalling even more. I've since ridden around in it, and in an hour or so, Im gonna try starting it again. Any insight in my problem and how to fix it. I know it's the ecu.
alright, It started up and i drove around. It's been starting up fine. Hope it starts tommorow morning. Anyone know why it's acting like this?
Secondaries shouldnt be opening at 6200rpms, is the ecu reprogrammed?
Maybe the fuel prog is whack for your car, did you try doing a correct start up procedure (take off batt/warmup/turnoff/drive the **** outta it)?

I have some questions about converting my GSR to OBD1. I am wondering if I need to chip the ecu for the OBD1 ecu to work and run properly. Would I need to do anything else to the car?
alright, i did the correct start up. disconnect battery, start car and let warm up without touching anything, turn off, start 10 mins later and drive it real hard. The car still has the same problem, and i seem to have blown the fuse to my cig lighter. hmmm anyone have any ideas
