Default Camber Kits?

Probably gonna get coilovers or lowering springs in the next week or so but my question is how many of you guys that have your cars lowered have a camber correction kit and is it really worth the money to get it...I know if I dont get it it will wear my tires but its only the cuts the tire life down to about 3/4 right...Cause if I have to get the camber kit...I probably wont even drop the car....which is a 91 Accord LX by the way w/ chrome 17" lexani crystals, in case you guys were wondering.

it all depends on how low you drop the car. i heard that with a drop of over 1.5", you will need a camber kit. you can survive with a 2" drop but the tire will wear unevenly. just get an alignment after lowering the car. most of the time, the car's toe is just off causing uneven tire wear. good luck!

every car is diferent. need an alignment to show the camber specs. dont forget about toe and caster as well.

Tires are expensive...getting a camber kit now will save you $$$$ (and tires) later.

Yup... If you drop your car more than 1.5"- invest in a camber kit... I ran my ryde with a 2.5" drop without a camber correction kit and I spent $$$ about every 6 months replacing the front tires (205/40/17's) ... I finally got around to getting a camber kit for the front (rear is done with a longer bolt and washers), got it aligned, and the rest is hunky-dory... My friend set the camber at -1 degree all around...

Best investment I've made so far...

the lower you are, the more wear on the tires after time. i am on eibach sportlines 1.8 front and 1.7 rear for the last 3 years and have only had minimal tire wear. alignments everytime i go from winter tires(east coast weather) to 17s and regular rotations. it can never hurt to buy them though

i disagree w/ getting a camber kit......i think just a good alignment is fine...

i notice that the toe is the major affect on tire wear......camber, ummmmmmmmm only 5% or less........
