Default swirl marks on car, what to do?

I have that OEM purrple honda color. Amthest pearle i think. I have a lot of swirl and light scratch marks. They can only be seen an certain angles in the sun but it bothers me. I have tried that scratch x stuff and it doesnt work. Can i take it to a paint or detailing shop and have them clean it up to remove all the swirl marks without havng to repaint the car? How much does this usually cost?

Usually a buffer some elbow grease and some wax does the trick.....or you can go to a detail shop and they can do it for you, usually around 50-100bucks.

Yea they will just sand it and use a buffer with a polishing compound, will prolly cost about 125 bucks.

Ok it seems like every car I buy or my family buys has been detailed and the detail shop put swirl marks in it with a rotary buffer or orbital buffer. This can be fixed pretty easy for under $20.00. You will want to buy some Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Professional Swirl Remover Deep Gloss Cleaner/Polish #9. Then after washing the car and drying it start applying it by hand with a cotton terry cloth towel or a foam applicator pad and work in a small area at a time and you have to put in some elbow grease and you must work the swirl remover liquid until it nearly dry. Then just let it sit for a minute and then with a new clean cotton terry cloth towel buff the remander, then I use Meguiars Mirror Glaze Professional Hi-Tech Yellow wax #26 last to finish it off and that should take care of it. Well this has never let me down so far, and I have done alot of swirl marks so I hope this helps you out.
