I'm gonna have to agree with you Targa. Dustin, while Spa may be cool, I can't say it's the best, even if it has that awesome turn.

didn't vote because I can't decide.
Nurburgring's Nordschleife
Laguna Seca
Bathhurst
Semi-off-topic: Do any racing sims have a Nordschleife track available? Originally or as a mod? I've only seen it on TV and from incar video so far. Want to come as close as I can to driving it since I won't actually be going to Germany any time soon.

100% wholeheartedly agree!
Grand Prix Legends is a totally awesome game/sim. The sound of the Ferrari in particular gets my blood movin. I played this sim before GT3 came out and while GT3 is a great and fun game. GPL is easily more realistic with an awesome physics model. Not just good but, one of the Great one's and challenging at that.
Plus, there are many files online that you can download of other cars and or tracks. I particularly love running Lime Rock and Watkin's Glen, especially since I've driven them both, there's not only a deeper connection but, being able to predict the course as you remember it and having the car act and react very closely is just a pleasure.
If you can still find this game, GET IT! I think I saw it last for like $10. in the bargain bin at Sam's club and online for like $19. I copied mine from a friend.
The addition of the Momo wheel with shifter helps to make this game extremely close to reality. As well, this is by no means an easy or simple game, the learning curve is moderate at best. It is challenging.
GPL, simply great stuff.

VIP center.. a 161 room hotel!
Rises to make sure your hearst still there!Kyalami South Africa...
NOTHING flows soo smoothly! Plus you have to have experience to master it! The Apexes are in the middle of the track in some corners.. not the rummble strips!

Well I've driven the 'Ring enough such that I can close my eyes and drive a lap in my head. It is truly amazing. Everyone on this board needs to go there at least once in their lifetime (unfortunately, as soon as you go there once you'll be dreaming up all sorts of excuses to go back).

I've visited the Nurburgring twice but never driven on it and visted Spa once and drove a road car on most of it as some sections were closed to public traffic.
Spa is very cool but the Nurburgring Nordeschleife is the pinnacle. In the US, I am most fond of Mid-Ohio but that is where most of my experience is. I have yet to drive Laguna Seca, VIR or Road America.

My favorite is any racing done on the Nurburgring. I aspire to go to Germany one day and drive it.
My next favorite is Bathurst. Kick *** stuff right there
Used to work with an Aussie and he had a 3 hr recap video of the 1992 (or was it '94??) 24hr race when Skaiffe won it in a Skyline. Fantastic race.
