what's good H-T ok. I need some sympathy here. They broke into my car and stole my mother()#&ing headunit. the worst part of it was that I was gonna get my car painted this week, it was gonna cost me 850. a steal. but thats dead, music before looks. Which brings us to my post title. I want to get an alarm (with the paint job money) I need some suggestions on what to get. I want a beeper alarm for sure, but other than that i just want something good not too $$$$, I'd appreciat the help. good lookin out.

I cant stand thieves, the should be lined up and shot one by one, no last words or nothing.

 

Sorry to hear about your radio... I installed a EXCALIBUR ATV-1000 into my EG and it has not given me any problems what so ever. It has to ability to control 25 programmable features. I have a turbo timer installed in my car also and this is about the only reasonable priced alarm system that will arm my car once my turbo timer shuts off. Look into it...it might be the alarm for you...
OOPS...almost forgot...I only paid $129 for it (installation labor.....no cost)

I've got a Viper 500 esp with a motion sensor. It has done a pretty good job so far.

 

i got a compustar alarm on my hatch
got remote start and everything cost me 500 all together and on my Ex i got a clifford alarm system that cost like 300 they booth really good alarms. i like the compustar its more high tech i think got the pager shows your car and whats being tampered with has a mile radius on it. and u can start your car when your inside,(damn snow DAYZ)!!

thanks H-T I ended up getting the valet 554r, with pager and remote start. pretty good alarm i think, getting installed as I write, I got it at Uncle Steve's (canal st.) for 170, real good price. I looked all over the net that was the price i found, saved on shipping. And I'm getting the Pioneer 8500 for a headunit, its a nice radio. but Thanks to everyone who responded.
