Whats up guys, well i gotta bring my R into the dealer to have the tranny looked at, but i'm not really sure if i should take the cluster out of the car before i go. The cluster has like 1300k on it while the USDM has close to 24,000. I just dont wanna have the worry of them re-calibrating my spoon one, if they see how many miles are on it! If i have to swap them out, its gonna be a bitch because i have to take the 2001 circuit board off the back of the spoon one, which means, removing all those annoying lights, and put it on the usdm one. well if you guys could help me out that'd be cool... thanks

 

are you are getting work done under warranty?
the removal of the OE cluster would void your warranty.

anyway yeah, have o put the USDM cluster back in, and in the mean while i'll take the spoon one off your hands if you want

 

but putting back the oe cluster wihtout them knowing
doesn't do harm hehe

 

highly recomend you re-install the original cluster, you will set a red flag for vehicle history report such as carfax. if you tampered with the odometer.
if you decide to sell your car or you were to make a claim on your insurance you have some explaining to do.
