Default cam seals, quick question

i am about to replace my stock gsr intake cam with an ITR intake cam. now since i have the valve cover off, i'm thinking about replacing little things all at once.

i read that the exhaust cam seals on older model integras are generally trash. now i have a 2001 gsr, should i replace either of my cam seals? i'm looking at some Golden Eagle cam seals, they are 30 bucks.

its always a good thing to replace... well the stock one is plastic and is known to leak after a while and by replacing it with a aftermarket one you are saving yourself the head ache later on.

Plus its inexpensive and easy to do

aftermarket ____ is not always better then oem ____ though. Some things I would much rather have OEM.

The aftermarket cam seals are better for sure, ive seen plenty of those plastic ones leak after time . i replace em as soon as i take the valve cover off.

Save your self a headache down the road and spend $30 for an STR or equivalent cam seal. Well worth the money.

Go head and replace the cam seal. I replaced mines with a str one and does not leak anymore. Plus it looks good
