Converting spring rates from kg/mm to lb/in

Default Converting spring rates from kg/mm to lb/in

Sorry guys if this is a newbie question but I did a search and did not come up w/ anything. I know what spring rates I want for my car in lb/in but I am looking at some coilovers w/ 10kg/mm and i have no idea what that means.

1 inch ~ 25mm so 1mm ~ 0.039 inches
1 lb ~ 0.45 Kg so 1 Kg ~ 2.2 lbs

ahhh thanks.. that means the 10kg/mm spring im looking at has a 564lb/in rating... exactly what i needed to know

Multiply by 55.8...... i.e. 10kg/mm spring is 558 lbs/in.
