Race Cars can go deep into the 9s with 500whp.
Street Cars...different story.
The only Sport FWD Cars to hit 9s are Jason Hunt and Brian Fisher....Jason, any Idea on power #s?

I think the dyno lied then...135mph and 9.9's with 300hp...in a near 1900 pound car....if the wastegate had problems at the track, I doubt you knew what the hp was regardless of what it said on the dyno later that night.

We went 9.71 with 475 WHP back in the day. And anyone that knows anything about racing, the HP you see on the dyno is never the HP you see at the track. Sometimes it's alot higher, sometimes alot lower. A dyno is no way to tell how fast a car will go, it's merely a way to tune the A/F to an area close to what you will be running at the track. HP is just a braggin number, that's all. ET and MPH numbers are the real deal regardless of HP!!! Just my .02.

ME ALSO, I TELL HARVEY, JUST CHILL, I'LL GUESS WHEN I GET TO THE TRACK. DUMB THEORY. ACTUALLY i just hate the dyno sound, i hate the motor screeming. i've seen one to many motors come off the dyno injured. its like Las Vegas, when you get greedy for big dyno numbers, bad things happen. greed kills. "ALL IN" like on the "WPT" World Poker Tour isn't always good. bye the way, i witnessed Sav Leone dyno at Harv's Dyno hit 470horsepower on the dyno spinning the tires, yep the day after he won NOPI running 8's. now thats under 500 horsepower skills......
