Default Cars acting-up help!!

Ok well my car has 39k miles on it and I know for sure it didn't get its 30k mile check-up...Well just recently it started to idle a little louder then it used to....and when im driving in 1st gear mostly and sometimes 2nd when i let go of the gas the car jerks a little bit and its not as smothe as it used to be. Any suggestions as to what this might be so I don't go to a mechanic and have him say a bunch of stupid **** and try to rip me off??? Thanks

Some people have also suggested Carbon build up and a valve adjustment...Do these sound reasonable?

Carbon buildup? Not on 39k

Valve adjustment? ..Maybe, But I doubt it's anything like that. Probably something really simple.

When you say it idles louder, does it idle HIGHER, or just louder?

The idle rmps have stayed the same but it just SOUNDS louder and has a little more shake at idle. Oh btw when I park I leave it in first gear and somes I will take the key out then release the clutch quickly after I take out the key and its like the engine goes through a few more turns because when i release the clutch the car jerks and like kinda stalls. This only happens if I let off the clutch right away. Just though I would add that to try and help. Thanks

That jerking is most likey you clutch cylinders. Check your master and slave clutch cylinders and check for leaks, if they are leaking, replace them. Otherwise you will need to replace your clutch from being burnt. You also might just be out of fluid. Check small clutch fluid contanier, fill with brake fluid, use same fluid since not all are compatiable.
