Default 5th gen Accord: Suspension people.. I got more questions.. =P, Help if possible.

A friend is looking into getting some suspension work done, and was looking to into a "true" coil-over system.. we've searched, and for the price/function we decided that the Tein FLEX system fits best.

If you know, there is no Tein FLEX for accord for the 5th gen chassis, but they do have it for the BB1 chassis (92-95 prelude), and I'm some what familiar with the chassis, and I'm aware of how similar they are.

My question is will the BB1 specific coilovers fit on the 94-97 accord...?

I also need a definite answer, b/c once ordered.. no returns if it doesn't fit.

Thanks for the help, sorry for the semi-long post.

BB1 suspension wont fit. Try looking into Apex WS coilovers. Performance and quality just as great as Teins and slightly cheaper.

Maybe the N1 if they have it.. but not the WS. Looking for something adj. and with good valving and mono tubed.

Have you considered revalved koni's with custom spring rates from eibach & gc sleeves? Cheaper than most off the shelf coilovers plus they'd be double adjustable and you'll get exactly the spring rates you want.

That would be a good "bang for the buck" setup but I'm looking for more quality.

No, I want a a "TRUE" coilover system + a mono tube + adjustability.

Springs rates are no problem.

You get what you pay for. Price range is about 1500?

Haha, you have no clue. The supsension on my race car is great and it is a Truechoice Koni, Eibach, and GC setup. I have had no problems and I have and will abuse a supsension system beyond your wildest dreams. I am working with 800 lbs front springs and 1000 lbs rears with aspirations of buymping those up in the near future.

On top of that Koni offers top notch repair, revalve, and rebuild service as well as GC and Eibach. Plus Koni offers the ability to make OTS shocks dual adjusable if need be.

Are you buying these for the bling factor or are you going to "really" use them?

I have no clue? you're comparing a shock/coilover SLEEVE/spring to a full threaded aluminum body, mono tubed TRUE coilover system??

Give me a break.. save your story for somebody else.

So do other major companies.

They "will" be used.
