Default JDM d15b VTEC HEAD

Trying to get stiffer valvesprings and titanium retainers but no one seems to know what head the jdm d15b is related to, anyone have any ideas? I need solid info, no guesswork. TIA

I believe it is a z6 head.

Z6 head
VX block
VX rods
some other piston (NON VX)

I was under the impression that the rods were different, i read somewhere that the d15b has the same r/s ratio as a b16....

EDIT: Rods are 137mm (simliar in sized to the d16z6)Rods are stronger than vx, built like d16z6 rods.
R/S ratio : 1.62 (just like the b17a). Like stated above the head is most similar to the d16z6 92-95 si motor, i just want to be absolutely sure.

VX rods are the largest d-series rods... look for post about them from Mista-bone, he's done a few comparisons.

VX rods are 137mm and have the lower wrist pin location...you can use VX rods in a 1.5L block and put 1.6L pistons on...meaning A6/Z6/A1 etc
D15 Rods are shorter and have a higher wrist pin location

z6 and d15b head castings are the same- d15b has a much better r/s ratio than the z6 as someone has already pointed out

So, can a jdm D15b take as much or more boost then a D16z6.. I know the d15b7's are weak..

They aren't THAT weak.
