First of all you have a D16Y8, and you can paint yours for less than 10 dollars and the better part of an afternoon. Just get some high temp paint from pep-boys.

I'm sure you know Daniel, but to the original poster, that is not an actual Mugen cover. They havent made SOHC parts in almost 10 years.

It's not? Damn!

But yeah, remember that when you're buying parts, the original part and "style" are two different things. (Not sure if that made sense.) The SOHC valve cover I posted is a Mugen style valve cover, not an actual one.

They made them way back in the day I think. I know I have seen a SOHC engine with all sorts of mugen goodies. I think it was a CRX motor, I could be wrong, but it was sweet.

I agree with Briman, they did make one, but I don't have a picture of it.

Are you thinking of that pic with the old sohc on an engine stand thing with the header coming off of it, and the valve cover is black, and it looks really nice and you know it probably costs about as much as your house.

Thats some good ****.

I put vasoline on the letters of mine and then used a rag with a tiny bit of paint thinner on it to clean them all the way up.
