So, I know I probably don't really need to make a thread about this, but I am going to anyways because I am DAMN happy I found this!

So me, BauleyCivic, and Sander, were walking through the junk yard today and I happen to see a hatch. I look inside, and in the trunk I find one speaker grille. A smile shot across my face and I quickly hurried inside the hatch to see if the rest of the rear speaker kit remained. Well what do you know, the complete - yes COMPLETE - OEM Optional Discontinued Incredibly Rare Hatchback Speaker Kit was inside of this hatch I quickly snatched it up, went to pay, and to my surprise it was only $15!!! Anyways, enough talk, here are some pictures:







This hatch also had the OEM audio console, but unfortunately it was badly damaged

I also made out like a bandit at the junkyard. I didn't really need anything...but I grabbed a few nuts and bolts...I held them out to the guy and he was like $1.00

See if you can pick out the expensive one


BTW they had a 95 EX Auto...motor, interior was still there (thats where I got parts from) if I was still looking for a SOHC VTEC head. AND they had a DC2 LS Auto with a full interior...shoulda got the seats but oh well

I got it for free last time I when to my local yard, I guess because I was getting a turbo and manifold so that dude just said those plastic is free haha

 

my best find was a duckbill wing non carbon. cost 10 bux. a week later it was stolen now i got the real deal spoon on

 

I managed the same find for mine, even go so lucky as to find it in BLUE!!! Woohoo for the matched blue interior

 

yea you can never have too many spare valve cover bolts. I've already broken 2 of mine . Had to drill into the head and all that **** to get them out.

 

man i didnt know those things were rare. I have all of that stuff. I just painted my speaker covers silver and butchered the speaker housing to be able to have 6x9's

 

Good find. I paid $100 for mine. It's been 9 months and I have not even put speakers in them yet. What jy did you go to?

Good deal man. Best thing i ever found at the junkyard was a set of HX wheels with nice *** tires for $40. Even better was when i sold them for $100 when i realized the calipers on my Si were too big for them to fit on there.
