Hi i just got a 1990 crx for 500 bucks!Anyways the interior kinda smells,i want too strip it out and clean everything over.How Hard is it too take out the interior,i helped a friend strip his 91 si,It didnt take that long at all.Also how hard is it too take off the stock side skirts?Theres rust on one side of it,and i need too get rid of it.Any help would be great thanks

 

Interior is probably the easiest Ive seen to take apart. Mostly clips and obvious screws, just try and to break all the clips.

Side skirts are easy, theres 5-6 bolts if you just open your door and look at the ledge you see them

 

Ok great thanks.Anyone else have rust problem behind stock side skirt?Also the car has water on the passenger floor.Could this be from the windshield?The windshield isnt perfectly sealed.Im not sure,ya i know i have lots of problems...but the car was 500 bucks what can ya expect?

oh and youre leak could be from your sunroof. Mine started leaking this year into my headliner

 

See if you can replace some of those plastic clips before you even start to put stuff back in. When I removed my interior I remember breaking damn near every little plastic tab (although I wasn't all that careful).

 

i dont think its my sunroof,that seems too be one of the only things that are fine.The Car sat in a swamp basically for 5 months.
