Tanabe Sustec Pro Street
Does anyone have these or experience with them? How do they ride?
Inline Fours site says that the ride height is adjustable from 2.4 inches to 3.9 inches in total body height, that seems a bit drastic, maybe I'm misreading.
Thanks

I think what they meant was that, depending on the specific application, it allows for drops from 0" to 2.4-3.9". In any case, I'd recommend the Pro SS over the Pro Street. The valving on the Pro Street is VERY stiff!...the Pro SS's are actually pretty nice cuz they have adjustable damping. So far, from everyone I've spoken to that has the Pro SS, they've had no complaints. Everyone I've spoken to that has the Pro Street say it's too stiff (except one guy who likes it like that). I can get you Tanabe coilovers, but not right now cuz I get them from a friend's shop and they're going thru some owner's change or something right now, so if you don't mind waiting a month or so, I can hook you up. HTH.
I had Tanabe Pro Streets with pillowball upper mounts, 15x6.5" Z.Speed RnRs w/ 195/50-15 SP8000s, stock front swaybar, no rear bar, and f/r upper strut bars on a 92 Si hatch w/ and w/o B18C.
Let me first say, it handled ******* awesome and you could drift (just meaning sliding through a corner cleanly, not that e brake bullshit) super super easy, even without a rear swaybar.
Complaints:
Holy **** was it stiff! I got used to it, but then got into a friend's car, got out of that and back in my car and I had to relearn all over again what chassis harshness and road bumps really were.
No adjustable dampening.
Other than that I think they are really nice because they have shortened shock bodies and are great for the track but for most people they are just too stiff for a daily driver.
