1991 CIVIC SI HATCH B16 TURBO $3000..TENNESSEE
*****CAR IS SOLD.......TO Justin Mann, from VIRGINIA*******
JDM B16 engine and tranny
Custom Turbo running 9lbs of boost
Interior is immaculate (no rip on drivers side seat)
engine has about 12,000 miles since it was swapped in
Turbo has about 6,000 miles since it was swapped in
I bought this car from one of my best friends, I am buying an STI and didn't want to drive it as my every day car so I wanted to have this hatch as a back up. The car is ridiculously fast, faster than an STI actually, but just not as pretty. As it sits now it would be an AWESOME project for anyone that has the time. Unfortunately I no longer have the time. I graduated college, got a real job, and no longer have time to give this car the attention that it deserves.
If you have the time it would be almost impossible to pick up a car that is already this fast for the little amount of money I'm asking. I'm not trying to make any money off of anyone here, I paid $3,000 for that car and I bought it about 2 months ago and have only driven it maybe 4 times, I never even got insurance on it.
The car does need a few things though....if you want it to be a budget racer then it will still be cheap, but if you want it to be done right then it will cost a bit more. The car absolutely needs 2 things and that is all.
1. The stock clutch is slipping pretty bad under boost, like I said I don't have time to fix the car or that wouldn't be the case...I have a brand new ACT clutch sitting in my living room if anyone would like to buy it seperatly for $420 which is exactly what I paid from horsepowerfreaks.com (the clutch is an HDSS heavy duty pressure plate with an organic street disc) this is the best set up for the car.
2. The tires need to be replaced, with that I would probably get some new wheels, but that is just my preference, I like to do things the best way possible.
That is all the car needs.
What I would do if I had the time:
1. replace clutch
2. buy new wheels and tires
3. JDM front end to replace the dented hood
4. rebuild the turbo, it's fine but gets a small amount of blowby under high boost
5. It would probably pick up 25-35 horsepower from a good turbo exhaust. (which I have by the way, I have a brand new Thermal R&D 3" turbo exhaust to go with the car if the buyer would like to have it, I would ask $450 which is what I paid for it.
6. Have a new downpipe fabricated....my friend david hit a speed bump going way to fast before I bought it and put a dent in the downpipe.
Like I said before the car has tons of potential and would be a wicked project for anyone that is serious about performance, of if you just want a crazy fast car for cheaper than you could buy the parts for, then this is the answers to your prayers.
Think about how much it would cost for just a B16 swap, then add a turbo...that is easly $3000.....that would mean you would get the Hatch itself for free, anyway you look at it it's a great deal. The car is 100% drivable and the clutch wouldn't be a problem, unless you were really getting on it after you picked it up.

Few things of note: I got carried away earlier and forgot to mention....The car has a starion front mount intercooler, all piping is custom (manifold, intercooler, downpipe, and exhaust all the way back to the muffler) The car has no catalytic converter if you need it for local emissions sorry, but you will have to put one on yourself. The car also has the JDM rear wing with the long LED lightbar. And the last thing I can think of at the moment, is that the windshield has a pretty descent crack in it.
If anyone has any questions I have nothing to hide and I want to make this a pleasant deal for both parties involved so I'll help you all out as much as I can, thank you for looking at my for sale post, and Have a wonderful day

sorry not willing to part out the car without the turbo, I will part out the clutch and exhaust however.....Also, not looking for any trades cuz I don't have time to put into this car much less another one, I'll just be happy with my new STI that I don't have to mess with.
The turbo consists of a handmade manifold and downpipe, an rx7 turbo, missing link, Vortech FMU, Walboro inline fuel pump, HKS super sequential blow off valve, Autometer boost, and Air/Fuel gauges, and a starion front mount intercooler

as you can see from the shot of the back of the car, it has a custom box built as a back deck to hold 2 6x9 inch speakers....it's actually pretty cool, the car also has a koss cd player that came with it when I bought it, not the best ever, but it's something
I would appreciate your comments about the car, I know you have all been waiting a few days for some new pics, but I have been busy. Hope you enjoy and it brings some light to any questions you may have had
DWILSON.....I have to work tonight from 4-11 so please just give me a call on my cell, and if I don't answer just leave a message, and I will call you back as soon as I get a chance....I talked to my friend David whom I bought the car from, and he said he will come out tomorrow while you are here, so he can better answer any questions you have about the fuel setup and exact turbo specs
