hey guys, im having some trouble for some reason with shortcuts.. they out of no where stopped working. I can not use any shortcuts.. is there a menu that like disables/enables shortcuts.. they were working fine 10 min ago.

- photoshop cs 8.0
- windows xp..

what kind of shortcuts? keyboard shortcuts?

 

Do you run any enhancement programs, like Tweak XP or anything like that? Sometimes they can screw up your shortcuts, and there is a "Rebuild Shortcuts" link within the menu of whatever enhancement program you're using.

 

yeah lol i have restarted... its driving me crazy... i cant even do a simple copy and paste...

oh yeah someone was asking me keybord shortcuts?.. yeah .. exsample:

ctrl + c - copy
ctrl + v- paste
ctrl + n- new document
ctrl + z- undo
ctrl + t- trasnform..

etc etc..... grrrrr its making me so mad.... like this.. lol

 

crtl shft u deletes the color ctrl and arrows move the screen.

is it only shortcuts that involve the ctrl button? have you tried it while holding either ctrl button, like:

right ctrl + c

etc...

it might be that your left ctrl key is out... may be time for a new keyboard.

I'm not sure, just throwing out some suggestions...

i did it all.. still no good.. i mean the keys work... lets same im on the clone stamp tool, and i hit alt.. it will give me my cross-hair... its just shortcuts that are not working.. and thats a mainnn thing for me...

i also re-installed photoshop 4 times.. it has to be somthing.. i duno maybe a key to shut off keybord short cuts?.. i duno... please any help would be greatly apericated...
