Default Please Help ME?????? My spark plugs wires are Jumping.

i need your guys' help.

I have a turbo d16z. The spark plug wires jump out of the motor or off the spark plugs. This happens when the motor is idling or boosting. It's random on which wires it happens too. when the wires goes out far, the spark plug wire at the cap arcs through the boot with other wires at the cap.

What could be this misfire
Would you try a different dizzy?

ive tried different plugs, wires, cap, ignitor.

Thanks for the advice!!!

i did purchase new wires.

When the motor is running, i can pull a spark plug wire out of the motor and watch the spark jump to the motor.

On one of the spark plug wires, i pull the wire out of the motor and instead of the spark jumping to the motor, at the distributor, i watch the spark jump through the rubber boot to the other wires at the distributor cap.

When im driving around town, a wire will come off the spark plug and that piston stops firing. Its very annoying.

sounds like you are saying two different things

1. the plug wires are jumping off the plugs
2. the spark is arking through the insulation to other wires causing all sorts of hell.

answer...new wires.

get new wires and get yourself a new cap. From your description nobody can really make heads or tails out of what your problem is.
New wires and a new cap. Done deal.
