Thanks for the pics but what i really wanted to know was, what are peoples experiences with the first one, i.e. It works great, or if they had trouble with them and please explain your experiences with the first gen. I know that the second gen was improved, but i have a first gen and would like to know if its still a good unit. Thanks

I haven't had any problems with it... although I haven't even got it under pressure yet hehe. Give it a few days till I get my manifold and i'll get back to ya.

i got the newer one.

Sounds good. more natural sounding, not like a whistle. And it hasn't given me any problems.

got the first gen bov and i'm happy with it. it's pretty loud with a woosshh sound rather than a whistling sound like the HKS. had no problems whatsoever.

Can you not replace the screw at the local hardware store so you can adjust it?

as long as your bov isn't leaking during boosting to redline you are fine... if it is leaking you just tighten the spring and prevent leaks. when you lift and come out of boost vacuum will open bov. not rocket science...EZ

So the BOV wont open, or i wont be able to hear it until i actually hit boost and release the throttle?
