HELP HELP HELP, i replaced head gasket, now my car wont run for shit
Well all plugs and hoses are hooked up, i got the crank pully mark lined up with the pointer on the belt cover, and i got the number one piston all the way up, with the cam gear where the UP is at the top. Then i put plug wires in sequence according to my book, 1-3-4-2, starting with the one the rotor is pointing at. So here is what it is doing, it starts up fine, one crank, it idles fine, but when i give it gas it hesitates for like 5 sec and slowly starts to go up in rpm's, once it starts to go up it sounds like it normally does, until i left off gas then it does the same thing. So when i go to drive it i have to let it build up to like 5000 rpm's then let clutch out, and it drops to like 1000 rpm's and barley moves, after like 5 sec it starts to go a little better but is real sluggish. Like i said the timing marks are all lined up and all hoses and plugs are connected, so what could be wrong, it was running fine before i pulled head. Are there any sensors that could cause this? Also i have new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and spark is good, it really feels like when a car is out of time, and it is retarded to much, but i got everything lined up right. Well if anyone can help me out, cause i have no more ideas left to try, any help is good, so drop me a few lines if you have any ideas. THANKS ahead of time.
