Well... I have a drag manifold and a deltagate wastegate. My drag manifold is cracked (rewelded it) and coupled with my 7psi deltagate I get 11psi or so every time.

I've only got one problem with the lovefab shorty manifold. It's $299.00. More than a little steep, but if the market will bear it...

PM "hulkhb" for a "shorty" manifold. I'm reworking his website right now, it's http://www.crpturbo.com I'll have pics of his shorty as soon as I can get to his house. The roads are a solid sheet of ice over here in WA.

I'm just looking for something that'll work well and If possible I"d like to run a 3" DP to a 3" thermal exhaust, with ac

but I have no problem with a 2.5 inch dp, I'm just trying to do my reasearch before buying anything, the shorty's seem like an affordable way to not have a drag or used greddy cast iron manifold with the wastegate in a crappy place

thanks for the help everyone

NIck

Well, if youre big on keeping the 3" Dp, the Cast Sidewinders are $599, beefy hi-silicon, ceramic coated cast iron. Coupled with a turbo brace, there is absolutely no reason this manifold wont last longer than your car! Its a little more, but AC and extremely large DPs are possible, and it will be the last manifold youll have to purchase.

Very well done Tinker!!! Good to see someone is thinking outside the box when it comes to manifold design.

How about the Inlinepro? They suport huge power right? If I upgrade to the inline pro will I still be able to use all or atleast most of my drag piping?

I bought one from him...it should be here shortly. he gave me a good deal. I'll post pictures when i get the mani and DP.

Oh, i pick the Shorty just b/c the cast on the Drag has been noted to crack and the WG placement isnt the best placement in the world...

http://www.johnnyracecar.com for a FMIC for 350whp or less or you can wait few days and custom coach america(www.speedpartsrus.com) is having a GB on a bigger FMIC that i believe suports 400whp+(very inexpensive for what you are getting)

Jesus christ that Sidewinder is sexy....$500 would make it alot sexier And hey, i know im a cheap bastard

Soon, soon! I know, its never soon enough. From the flow tests that we have done, this outflows most of my welded stuff. I have two going out this week, and numbers will soon follow

Neither am I, thats why I have to charge what I do. Id like to see you front $25k+ to make something like this. "Oh, thats why he charges what he does."

one more question, with the equal length sidewinder, can I retain my stock radiator and fans, or will I have to change it up

Both the cast and welded are equal length, (i think). I just took off my passengers side fan and it fits great.

if you scroll up you'll notice the cast isn't equal length...anyway

when you took off your fan, do you have any cooling issues now, or how long ago did you take the fan out

did you replace the drivers side with a different fan, or what?

Um is that pronounced crap turbo? You're making it too easy for future potential detractors...

Actually, the cast sidewinder is equal length Like within a 1/16th inch equal length, even to the end of the crossover pipe.
