FS: 1986 Honda Prelude in CA
Well, with the arrival of the 5th gen, the 2nd gen gets no more love, and i dont wanna keep paying for the insurance for a car that i rarely drive. So here's the details...
1986 Honda Prelude Base
Montreal Blue Metallic
5 Speed Manual (no grinding of the gears)
239000 Miles (Head rebuilt 50k ago)
Lowered 1 inch on ST Springs
ASA Concept HS2's with RE-730 rubber (couple thousand miles left on them)
Tokico Blue's all around
Pioneer deck and 3 way speakers all around
It has a Sub
Interior has no major stains or blemishes. Driver's seat is ripped a little bit and so is the rear, but 17 years will do that
Did a compression check a few months ago and each cylinder checked out fine.
Clutch still grabs hard, but it may need to be replaced within the next 5k miles.
All original records available
AC and heater both work great
The car, in general, is in excellent condition for its age, and is still a blast to drive. It's got pep, handles really well, gets great gas mileage and has a good sound system. Sun roof still opens with ease with a push of a button. However, the driver's side window mechanism needs to be replaced as it's very hard to roll up.

Asking $2000 OBO
More pics available on request. I'm located in the Bay Area. You can call me anytime after 3 at 925-550-9183 (cell) or 925-634-3411 (house) ask for Jeff
