Default Good Seat Swaps in 5th Gen

What would be some good seat swaps in a 5th gen accord? (no power seats).. Anyone have any pics too?

P.S - does anyone have their back seats taken out?

backseat is dead weight, if you have a beater to haul your friend's ***** around

they dont weight much tho'

anyways, what do you want from your seatswap?

comfort? leather?
pricy? cloth?
more support/sporty feel? sparco?

nothing from the teg or civic would give you the height, and the size of the civic seat is hurting my back when you're used to accord's fat seat.
no to mention they are rather low seating position.

unless you gonna get a straight swap from the same gen of accord, i dont think any seat would bolt right up except the CL first gen.

but again, I am not sure of that neither.

sorry to bring this up again, you can get a pair of no name no brand racing seat with the rail and everything around 250-350.
very cheap altenative but only if that's what you what.

cliffnote-i cant help sh-t, BUMP

I sugg. Newer (99up)Accord seats, 00-up CL seats, or RSX seats are nice and sporty.

Do they actually bolt up to a 5th gen???

well if your short on cash, get seat covers to cover those burn holes up

but those no namers sounds like your best bet... oem will prob cost u the same so why not eh?

The thing is.. this accord is my daily driver.. its not like im gonna be racing in this piece.. lol.. I dont want to give people the idea that Im trying to carve corners in this thing ya know.. Id rather have some OEM comfort.. I wonder if newer (6th Gen) accord seats will bolt right up or will I have to alter the slide rails.

A friend of mine does.. the bottom portion alone is about 20lbs(bathroom scale).. its THICK.. unlike tegs..

both top/bottom portions of the seat.. i would say about 40-ish lbs saved.. if not more + no rear passengers..

the rear of my accord is gutted. it'll stay out too.

you could spend a lot of dollars and get s2k seats. :D. your best bet is to get some 4g prelude seats. cheap, sporty, oe looking, comfortable.

I have 97 Accord Coupe powered seats in my 4th gen. Its not too bad in the summer...just make sure you have AC and park in the shade. I live in Central Cali and it gets hot in the summer.

I got the 92-95 Black cloth Prelude seats in my 5th Gen, and there comfortable *** all hell.
Another advantage to those seats in that if you have an EX like in my case, the drivers side seat is about 60-65lbs, the Lude ones are about 25-30lbs.....
Just my 2 cents
