I want to stay all motor. What will void my factory acura warranty? Do they just do a visual inspect for maintence or what? I can put the intake box back on and that kind of stuff but what else can i do and still keep my warranty

first i would do...is lower your car, get good springs or if you got the money get tein coilovers. i went with springs...i got eibach sportlines which give a good low drop and fairly nice ride in my opinion.
then the next mod i think would definately be a cold air intake. aem or injen are pretty good. i went with the aem, and the car is recognizably louder at vtec. you'll be suprised....
that next mods are up to you...id probably get hondata!! best bang for your buck.
good luck with your car..

I would do suspension first, then engine mods

Suspension mods first before anything.

ok first of all DONT GET AN apexi N1.

this is the sequence that i would/am doing.

1. injen CAI (best CAI for RSX)
2. BM shortshifter (will be out very soon)
3. new tires... yoko avs es100 2255016 good choice)
5. tein s tech springs or tein ss coilovers
4. Exhaust (hks hipower or fujitsubo powergetter is good)
5. now this is where how much money you want to spend come in.
you can either get a hondata reflash and be done with it or you can get a toda engine kit which puts the car close to 225 whp.OR if you really want to go nuts you can get the hytech NA kit which raises hp to 270 whp.

that should start you off, if you have any questions http://www.clubrsx.com is a nice place to start for new owners.

It would be nice if C's came out with one for the DC5/EP3. The whole unit, not just the adapter.

You know most always say...intake or exhaust & hondata
But as you know this S model is pretty peppy & the truth is you cannot wring out what it already has until you get better handling & tires.
Just my 2 cents

I went with the Mugen Sport suspension as 1st mod & never regretted it.

I would replace the suspension first. The gaps are so big on stocks

I would look into getting teins. RacerDC5s selling them for a pretty good price too.

i would do half performance mods and half appearance mods.

1. suspension tein, or ground control
2. rims spoons, or rota slips
3. cai
4. exhaust
5. jdm lips
6. maybe diy black housing with HID

your car can be the fastest in the world, but when you look back and see how much money you spend it adds up.

I had my DC5 for almost a year already, I have yet to do any engine mods

If I were you i'd get some decent tire, when i 1st got my car, I already bought FM901, 2 months later i changed to AZENIS, recently i got A032R (havent really used it tho cuz its its SNOWING in canada)

I'm a suspension/tire freak. I guess thats why i dont hv money to buy i/h/e cpu atm,
you'll fell better once you start doing your safety 1st

I just got muh rsx-s too. im keeping it the way it is since i bought mine with the A-Spec performance package from the dealer. as for parts i say go full out jdm for exterior the look of the car. as for performance go for anything by injen, comptec, honda japan, mugen, anything that you would like to put in your car. But for shifters i would get a DC Sports Short Shifter adapter since thats the only thing close to a short shifter they have for a DC5.

I would go with kg/mm race springs and bilstein shocks talk about handling
If you want to go all motor
Injen CAI
Type-r im
Kings TB
ITR cams
Mugen double valvesprings
Mugen n1 ecu
Toda headgasket
Comptech race headers
And you can save money and get a custom 2.5 mandrel bent 2.5 inch system and make it as straight as possible and any muffler is suitable i use a apexi turbo muffler
energy motor mounts

Yeah here is a before & after shot.
Handling wise it is night & day. The car is super planted now & sure footed. Fast sweepers use to feel light footed & scary now no prob. Turn in is greatly improved too.
