My cable company has finally picked up this channel, and so far I'm seeing way too much NASCAR stuff on it!... Which shows/races should I look for to see the R's in action? Is there a particular day or time that those are shown? I hope the NASCAR addition hasn't bumped them off, I had heard I could see the Real Time cars in action there...

 

goto http://www.speedvision.com or http://www.speedvisionwc.com and look for the TV schedule. Lately speedvision has been motorcycle and boat racing and mostly NASCAR.

 

Speedvision broadcast of the Touring Car and GT races from Laguna Seca (a few weeks ago), will be start @8PM this Fri 9/28.

But I'm still ignorant of the classes and types of races the R's run in; I would not have known to watch the "GT races" for them...
Once I have the schedule, how would I know which races these cars participate in? (Yeah, I am the weakest link...)

Usually, any kind of racing with "touring" in the title is based off of some type of street car. The great shows to watch on speedvision are:

Motorsport Mundial (weekly show of all types of racing, very cool)
Any World Challenge race
Any ALMS race (American Lemans)
Any Rally racing
etc. etc.

Just check the weekly schedule routinely. But, I think the winter gets boring because most of the racing series are over. (I could be wrong with this)

Do a search throught the threads, it has been discovered that Speedvision is increasing their NASCAR presence but not significantly decreasing other programming.

 

I hope that some of the paid-advertising is replaced by the Nascar stuff.

That would be better than removing current programming.
