Default What is a good compression ratio for Skunk2 S2 cams?

I am interested in getting some cams, but I was told the S2 work better with higher compression. So what exactly is high? I have a 2001 ITR with AEM CAI, DC JDM 4-1, and Apexi N1. I was wondering if a Mugen headgasket would make my compression high enough. Also, do I have to upgrade the valvetrain or only if I want to rev higher? And do I need to rev higher to maximize performance out of these cams?

Thankx
