Trade in my SS for a manual
My car has really low mileage, around 10,000
Now, I want to either trade for a 99 or 00 manual in a honda dealership, and I assume those cars sitting at the lot has more milage than mine
Would I lose any money if I trade mine in?

It all depends on how much your car is worth & how much you owe on it. If you trade it in you won't get full value for it because they are in the business of making $$$ off people like you & me. So, yes, you will lose some money, but primarily it depends on how much you owe on your car compared to it's value.
My friend traded in a 94 Civic Si for a 95 240 SX Se and made money on the deal. Shitty Nissans... but he is going to SR20DET the 240.
I didn't owe on it
I pay in full when I bought it, and a brand new auto cost around $800 more than a manual
Now, I won't mind paying a few hundred dollars to trade it in, but anymore than that, no thanks, it is just crazy
Oh, by the way, mine is a 99

I don't know how much you paid for your car but let me break something down for you, I used to sell cars. If it is a 99 you will be lucky to get $14,000 or $15,000 if you trade it in. If you don't believe me, go to www.edumnds.com Click on used cars, and plug yours in. Car dealerships don't care what options you have, it is the lowest possible value. You can go and add up what you may think it is worth, but it will never happen. Your best bet is to sell it out-right. That way you will get more money for it, and someone else will get it cheaper than buying at a dealership. The demand has to be there though. If not, guess what, you will be sitting on it. I just sold my 4runner, it took 8 months, and it was a beauty! I figured it was worth at least $22,000, but guess the dealership wanted to give? $14,000. I finally ended up selling it for $16,500 and I got a 92 Toyota Pickup in trade. Not a bad deal, but it was not the full amount I wanted. Your car is farily new. If you haven't paid it off yet, then you probably owe more than it is worth. It will eventually work out to your favor, but you have to give it another year. Your car won't be worth as much, but you will have some equity built up. Plus, an auto is not that bad. If you go turbo, it will keep your turbo spooled between shifts. Autos normally launch faster than manuals. Couple of good points there. Do your homework before you go. All the info is out there. The more prepared you are when you go into the dealership, the better.
