earlier drive was acting like neutral now i put tranny fluid in it until it read full on the stick then i went to drive it and it hesitated to go into gear and there was a constant low howling. then i put it in park and it was still making a howling type noise but it wasnt extremely loud. does anyone know whats goin on? or do i need a new tranny?

I have no idea about anything auto tranny related. How many miles are on it?

 

you need your tranny rebuilt or replaced, does the fluid on the stick smell burnt? is it slipping or just not moving at all. need more info
