Problemo with steering on recently bought accord
Well i recently bought a 1993 Accord LX with 39,000 miles, and bought it even tho it had a vibration in the steering wheel because the new tires that were on were not balanced. Well I took it to the shop to get the tires balanced at 8:30 am and at 3 pm i called to see if it was ready and they said the axle was going to need to be replaced. They said it would cost $300 with the inspection. So I said fine, because I wanted to get the car running on the road. Well my dad picked it up and okayed it, so I took it out tonight.
On the way out and on the way home I felt the vibrations again in the 40-55 mph zone and heard a loud sound when i turned the steering wheel as far over as I could. The vibration even got worse through turns. Well I was upset, because I thought the problem was fixed, but now it is back again, but not as bad. So I am going to take it to the shop tomorrow.
Well i thought the loud sound might be from a lack of power steering fluid, but that was checked and okayed, so I am not sure what the prob is. Oh the report said something about a fixed U-Joint. And I checked out the old axle, the CV Boot was shifted about 2-3 inches from where it was supossed to have been. I am going to take it to the shop in the morning. Any suggestions? I appreciate helpful comments.

yeah well it was like 140 for parts they said, then 80 for labor and 80 for the inspection. I told my dad that I wanted to do it, but I don't have the tools or the experience and he just wanted to get the car on the road.
