JDM ITR cluster pin diagram?
ok i did a search on a couple things and can't come up with anything, sorry don't have alot of time right now.
trying to put in a JDM cluster but i don't know what wires have to be crossed over and such to get the cluster to work properly. everything lights up fine, but the temp guage reads all the way hot, and the fuel guage reads all the way empty. when i turn my turn signals on they both go on (in the cluster) and the high beam light goes on.
anyone have any difficulties with this as well? help is thanks

I am guessing you have an integra. For one thing you are making it harder than it is. Just switch the back halves of each one (the white part) then plug in like normal. PM me if you have trouble.
one more question on the cluster. are the 96/97/98 clusters a little different then the 00/01 years? i looked at it and the one i have and it don't have the SRS/ABS/Key Immobilizer/Maintinece Required lights. i'm guessing the 00-01 JDM clusters have what's missing on 96-98? everything else looks good though.
it does have an extra light in-between the oil and CEL light, looks like a chevy bowtie with vapors (squiggly) lines coming from the top of it. is this an overheating light?
sorry for the questions, just want to get things cleared up. thanks ahead of time!

From what I remember, that's the catalytic converter overheat light?

Yeah that's for the cat.
The USDM 00-01 have the key icon which means the car has an imobolizer.
The jdm clusters do not have that. Also many do not have the abs light.
The 96 spec and 98 spec itr clusters have minor changes where icons moved.

thanks
so most of the JDM clusters are identicle for all of the years?

JDM gauges in USDM cluster OR usdm green film on the JDM cluster. </TD></TR></TABLE>
did the exact same thing to mine.. worked out great.. i did a couple of customization such as switching not only the green film, but certain parts that indicated high beam, seat belt, etc. fastest way basically is to just switch the guages. So if you have a 98 n up there is room for your key code light

nice, so basically take the JDM back half, and screw it on to the USDM front half. then take the UDSM circutry and put it in place of the JDM circutry?
just making sure before i take it back apart, HYBRID GUAGE CLUSTER!!

be careful when you take it apart, there are three screws behind the green film on the jdm one n the usdm one. I accidentally missed it when i took everything apart and kinda cracked the carbon fiber just a tid bit. but yeah try not to make the same mistake i did
good luck and take pics of it done n installed

im trying to put a jdm type r cluster into my 01 integra. Its the jdm cluster w/o the srs light. Is it possible to keep all the icons in the cluster-the key imobilizer, maintance, etc? Whats the best way to do this swap?
replace the whole back part of the udsm into the jdm one (the white piece/without the gauges).. just switch the guages of the jdm one into the usdm one, but you might have to transfer those small films/icons that indicate the things you want to see on the usdm ones.
first you'd have to take the usdm apart.. (take the clear plastic off, the carbon fiber trimmings) until you can take off the usdm guages off the usdm one.
do the same for the jdm one. same process but make sure you've taken off the screws correctly/all of them.
swap the usdm guages and jdm guages. you should have the jdm guages onto the original white back part of the usdm cluster, and usdm guages onto the jdm one.
now on the usdm carbon fiber trimming you can pop out the thin film that indicates all the e-brake, srs, etc. do the necessary switches from the usdm and jdm ones.
now you should have the srs n abs option on the usdm back part of the cluster with just jdm guages..
