I NEED HELP WITH 93 ACCORD OIL LEAK!!!!
My girl has a 93 accord auto and today i found two spots in my pavement that had oil on it one from today and one from yesterday. i checked the dipstick and it seemed to have enought oil. but where could it be leaking from any suggestions on what to do?
You also may want to check the p/s (mine leaks and I still cant find out where) and a usual suspect is the oil pan gasket (mine is a 4th gen too). Also if you have a fairly big piece of cardboard about the size of your engine bay slide that under the car and you can pinpoint where its leaking/dripping from and start your investigation there (this helped me a ton in the past) its kind of the ghetto way, but oh well it works. Hope this helps.
could be alot of thing, pull off the plastic shroud thing on the bottem, clean up all the grease spot and then drive it like you used to.
park it under a clean cardboard, it the leak is there, then it gonna show up on the cardboard.
that's how i located mine.
I recently fixed my oil and coolant leak problem too..on my acura legend with 130k miles with no love from previous owner.
i replace the tranny oil line from the tranny to the radiator, it's leaky and cracking already, new clamps(double clamps).
couple oil lines and clamps here and there, new radiator hose clamps along with new radiator caps, Valvoline Maxlife and coolant flush
no more leaks, but it took me the whole afternoon, running to the shop and back

Glad I am not the only one who uses the cardboard detection device.
