Default 5w20 vs. 5w30

I have a new TL and am hesitant about using 5w20 oil which is what the manual recommends. On the first oil change I am going with full synthetic but don't know whether to use 5w20 or 5w30. Any advice out there?

Hesitant about what? If it calls for 5W20, what is the dilemma? Use the 5W20.

The big reason for the switch to 5W20 was a slight increase in fuel economy at highway speeds. This lowers Honda/Acuras CAFE ratings and lowers chance of penalties.

Depends on what synthetic oil you are using. I recommend Mobil 1. Use their 0w-20 oil. It's a substitute for 5w-20.

Once you go with synthetic oil, stick with it.
