Default azenis beak-in period?

i just got my azenis in the mail and have a race on sunday (cmi) and i've been told there is a break in period before they really start to grip. any idea on how long this would be? i've heard 300miles
should i get them mounted and race with them on sunday or wait and run on dunlops that are about to bite the dust?
i searched and found nothing

just go do some quick burnouts and go have fun, it really is much more in how the track is prepped.

P.S 600 mile old azenis netted me a 2.14 on a fairly well prepped track
