Prolly not, most of those cars were beautiful. Great story, I too thought that once your over the border, you're home free. Just glad it was him and not me.

how do they seem dumb?

you mean how that guy ran from the cop car?

most of those cars are making big power for a 6 cylinder. and from teh article none of them broke down.

It does almost make them sound stupid, but think of it like this. If you are rich as hell with plenty of money and a car like like that. Many ppl on this board would prolly do that. (Run from the cops) They dont have to worry about a interview with a felony on the resume I guess. I dunno, it all depends I guess... blah

its false reasoning to make the conclusion from one small example and then generalize it to all people

i can tell that alot of those guys are prolly smart in a few areas if they are able to afford $14k brakes and 4-10k for a set of bling bling wheels. im sure they are able to look at things dsr does on a daily basis and say "hes doing that wrong, he should be doing _____"
but since hes an itr owner and he isnt the sharpest tool in the tool chest, does that make all itr owners dumb?

 

Things like that just seriously make me wish that I was rich. I know that I would go on rally's and things like that with my car all the time if I didn't have to work and worry about the $$$ that I spent. Hell I have to worry about paying rent every month and not eating out so I can buy car and camera parts all the time.

to those that can though, can't knock it one bit.

You need to seriously re-read my post and stop assuming..

I never said all porsche owners were dumb. If I did please show me..If it was translated from anyone, it was you.

I have alot of respect for what they are doing w/there cars, they could just be sitting in a garage.

What I am saying is, just because that guy has alot of cash (obivously had the brains to make it, or perhaps it was just inherited.) he still didn't have the common sense to just pull over and pay the ticket that was obiviously cheap for the "Black Optima Card Owner" he ran and now faces a felony charge.

Are you justifying his act in some way?

What Im saying is, if someone here posted on here that they ran from the cops in there "swapped honda" they would all be flamed, would they not?

the "Black Amex Card" is known as the Centurion. The card has no limit(as do many charge cards) and has an astronomical annual fee. It is basically reserved for the elite, and you can only apply upon invitation.
