Tire Rotation
I rotate my tires everytime I get my oil changed (every 3,000 miles). Is it necessary to rotate AND balance? Or is just rotating good enough? My car is lowered on H&R Sports and Tokico Illuminas, if that makes a difference.
Rotating & balancing are completely different things. Rotate them like you're doing, that's good.
I don't rebalance unless I feel vibrations. I've only had one set of tires (a long time ago) that kept going out of balance again & again. In the last 10 years, the only time I had to rebalance is when one tire had to come off to plug a nail-hole.

so, its better to do it every 3K instead of the recomended 6 to 8 thousand because you are lowered and stuff? I guess that is a good idea, especially with expensive tires...
i rotate mine every 5k, I am lazy that's all, 3k sounds about right if your car is pretty low.
i would balance all my tires, once a year or my steering wheel start jerking up
