I was wondering what is a good video editing software. not looking for cheap ones. i know adobe makes one but i cant think of the name

p.s. very hard to use if never used a editing software before.

 

just buy an imac, i wish i had one for editing

 

i'm a mac user myself so if you're goin mac, use iMovie3 for easy and simple editing and Final Cut Pro for more advanced editing.

 

im using windows XP Professional

my brother has an IMAC that piece of crap freezes everytime he tries to use it.

yes use this program but search around on google or something and find some tutorials.

 

ULead makes one that's not bad.

I use Windows Movie Maker (it's free, but only for Windows XP), and it's pretty nice... Simple, easy to use, and you can do a lot with it. I never thought I'd say that about M$ software. The only big down side is that it's only output format is WMV3 (aka windows media player 9), but at least it's a superior format to the previous WMV formats.

 

I just use windows XP movie maker, its decent for chopping up small stuff.

 

Yeah i think adobe Premiere pro is out now.. otherwise if you have a mac, i go with final cut. I have a custom built machine runnign windows XP 1.8gHz, 512 RAM and premiere 6.5... runs smooth..
